ARKbar Beach Club on Chaweng Beach stages its NYE Countdown Beach Festival on Thursday 31 December 2026. Doors open at 5 pm and the night is for guests aged 18 and over. International and resident DJs play the main stage, an extended fire show starts on the sand at 8 pm, and fireworks go up over Chaweng Bay at midnight.
Standing tickets cost 500 THB (~14 USD) in advance, and advance sales close on 25 December 2026. The club says doors close once the beach is full. Tables start at 15,000 THB (~429 USD): there are 112 tables in five zones, only 22 of them Platinum, and each table is paid in full and includes entry for every guest. Tables are booked at reserveyourvenue.com/arkbar, and the line-up and venue map are on the club's New Year's Eve page.

Live music on Koh Samui
Live music on Samui is spread across the evening bar strips rather than one venue. Chaweng Beach Road has bars with house bands playing rock, reggae and pop covers, plus a small jazz club. Lamai leans towards reggae and rock bands, and Bophut's Fisherman's Village suits a quieter drink with a singer or duo. Larger club nights bring in visiting international performers, usually announced a few weeks ahead on the club's own channels. Resorts also host jazz and beach concerts now and then. Most nights start late, so expect the main acts after 22:00.
Around Chaweng
Chaweng is the main resort town on Samui's east coast, with the longest beach on the island, roughly 7 km of sand. Soi Green Mango, just back from the beach, is the nightlife alley, and Central Festival Samui sits between the beach road and Chaweng Lake. Chaweng Beach Road is one-way northbound and slows to a crawl between 17:00 and 20:00 with taxis, scooters and pedestrians. Most club nights, pool parties and Muay Thai bouts are here, and Pru Chaweng Park hosts public festivals and races.
