The same release also mentions a Main Beach Christmas Eve with fireworks and a Christmas Day brunch at KOH Thai Kitchen. Parties on Koh Samui
Samui's party scene is concentrated in Chaweng. Soi Green Mango and the beach clubs along Chaweng Beach Road are where nights run from around 22:00 into the early hours, and the noise carries to nearby rooms, so choose where you sleep with that in mind. Beach clubs often start with a pool party in the afternoon and turn into dance floors after dark. Lamai is more laid-back, with reggae bars. The famous Full Moon Party is not on Samui: it takes place on Koh Phangan, reached by ferry. Alcohol sales are restricted on major Buddhist holidays, so check the date.
Around Angthong
Angthong is the subdistrict on Samui's north-west coast, home to Nathon, the island's administrative town, and Nathon Pier, with ferries to Donsak, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. Evenings here are low-key: the Nathon night market starts around 16:00 near the pier, and most visitors are local. The Laem Yai peninsula holds quiet resorts such as the Four Seasons, which a source places about a 10-minute drive from Nathon and which hosts a seafood Christmas Eve on its beach. A source notes limited walkable amenities nearby.
