About this event

Zamna, the festival brand that began in the jungle of Tulum, made its Thailand debut at Club Seen on Saturday 21 February 2026 with a beachfront edition. Doors opened at 2 pm and the main event ran from sunset into the night. The headliners were Zamna Soundsystem, Øostil, Goom Gum, Alfa Romero, Aracil and Robbie Akbal.

The organisers describe Zamna's sound as melodic, Afro and progressive electronic music in nature-driven settings, and Samui was the first Thai stage for it. The event had an age limit of 18 and over, and the ticket page offered table, sofa and daybed packages as well as standard entry. An after event with Zamna Soundsystem and Marvy followed the main show. Zamna later announced a separate two-day festival in Phuket for 2027.

Live music on Koh Samui

Live music on Samui is spread across the evening bar strips rather than one venue. Chaweng Beach Road has bars with house bands playing rock, reggae and pop covers, plus a small jazz club. Lamai leans towards reggae and rock bands, and Bophut's Fisherman's Village suits a quieter drink with a singer or duo. Larger club nights bring in visiting international performers, usually announced a few weeks ahead on the club's own channels. Resorts also host jazz and beach concerts now and then. Most nights start late, so expect the main acts after 22:00.

Around Chaweng

Chaweng is the main resort town on Samui's east coast, with the longest beach on the island, roughly 7 km of sand. Soi Green Mango, just back from the beach, is the nightlife alley, and Central Festival Samui sits between the beach road and Chaweng Lake. Chaweng Beach Road is one-way northbound and slows to a crawl between 17:00 and 20:00 with taxis, scooters and pedestrians. Most club nights, pool parties and Muay Thai bouts are here, and Pru Chaweng Park hosts public festivals and races.
