About this event

Glitterbox, the disco brand of the house label Defected, made its Samui debut at Club Seen on Chaweng Beach on Saturday 31 January 2026, as part of its Australasia tour. Mousse T. and Jellybean Benitez were the named headliners. The night followed the club's day-to-night pattern at the beach.

The brand returned to Australasia in January 2026, and a flagship show in Sydney had Mousse T. and Jellybean Benitez on the bill too, so the Samui date carried the same core names. Club Seen's owner had named Glitterbox, together with Defected, as the brands that set the tone for its relaunch season. Tickets were sold through Megatix. The listing gives no door time, so guests had to check the ticket page for the start.

All times are Bangkok time (UTC+7).

We organize none of these events and sell no tickets. Plans change, so check the organizer's page before you go.

Live music on Koh Samui

Live music on Samui is spread across the evening bar strips rather than one venue. Chaweng Beach Road has bars with house bands playing rock, reggae and pop covers, plus a small jazz club. Lamai leans towards reggae and rock bands, and Bophut's Fisherman's Village suits a quieter drink with a singer or duo. Larger club nights bring in visiting international performers, usually announced a few weeks ahead on the club's own channels. Resorts also host jazz and beach concerts now and then. Most nights start late, so expect the main acts after 22:00.

Around Chaweng

Chaweng is the main resort town on Samui's east coast, with the longest beach on the island, roughly 7 km of sand. Soi Green Mango, just back from the beach, is the nightlife alley, and Central Festival Samui sits between the beach road and Chaweng Lake. Chaweng Beach Road is one-way northbound and slows to a crawl between 17:00 and 20:00 with taxis, scooters and pedestrians. Most club nights, pool parties and Muay Thai bouts are here, and Pru Chaweng Park hosts public festivals and races.
