Who writes Samui69

Samui69 is written by a small group of residents and frequent visitors, not a content farm. Two named writers currently contribute: Mike Brochlowski, a travel photographer and island explorer, and Migues Ferfumoz, a writer who has lived on Koh Samui since 2019. The rest of the site carries the Samui69 Editorial Team byline.

A byline tells you who did the work. When an article carries a named person's byline, that person visited the place, did the research and wrote the page. When it carries the Samui69 Editorial Team byline, the guide was researched and fact checked by the team rather than one writer, but the same standards apply either way.

Every page starts with a visit, not a listing copied from somewhere else. Opening hours, prices and directions get checked on site, then cross checked against at least three independent sources before anything is published. Prices are given in baht, and every article carries a last updated date so you can judge how current it still is. Found something wrong or out of date? Samui69 is non-commercial: no ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements, no paywall, and nothing is ranked or left out for payment. Photos carry credits, and each author's page lists every article they've published, newest first.
